The warm night air hummed with the ballad of crickets and cicadas, a melody that rose and fell alongside the gentle waves that lapped at the wooden boat's sides. The sky was spread with millions of lights, stars that stood proud against the backdrop of black and dark blue while the moon rose higher into the sky, a celestial beauty far from earth's hemisphere and where the man stood, ankle deep in the current.
The moon's glow turned his blond hair into a halo of white and gold, ringing it in starlight where it fell to the base of his neck and tickled his chin. The

Canada, or more namely, Matthew Williams, was a quiet person. His next-to-silent demeanor was not because he was often forgotten, but because the quiet often were able to observe much more than the extroverted; and as such, were able to profit and become victorious in any given situation.
It was very useful to be quiet, and even more so if you were skilled in working circumstances to your advantage.
Everyone took little Canada to be a simple, serene nation; one who gave up without lifting a finger in protest. He could use this false assumption to his advantage, he knew, and certainly planned to, After all, no one would see it coming. Especi
